Agatha is a certified Love on a Leash Volunteer Therapy Pet.
She will volunteer at TWKDMS on a regular basis with her Authorized Handler, Mrs. Erin Peters.
All of the paperwork is in order, following RSU 56 policy. Students who are not interested in interacting with Agatha will never be made to do so. Feel free to call with questions. We are excited to have her visit this year. She's wicked sweet. Go Cougars!
Fall Sports are almost here! 🐾
We’re excited to kick off the Fall Sports season at T.W.K. Dirigo Middle School!
Soccer and Field Hockey begin Monday, August 31, with Cross Country starting Tuesday, September 1.
A reminder that all student-athletes need a current physical on file and must be registered by a parent/guardian at schools.snap.app/dirigo by clicking “Register.”
5th graders may register at this time! Once we see registration numbers, we’ll determine if there is enough space to safely include them.

We are one month away from the start of the 2026-2027 school year! The annual mailing will be sent out in a couple of weeks with lots of information. In the meantime, we thought we would post our recommended supply list and ask parents/guardians to "save the date" for Thursday, September 3rd, 5:30-7:00, for the TWKDMS Open House and mandatory technology safety meeting. The first day of school just for 6th graders will be Wednesday, August 26th (NOT a late arrival day), and the whole school starts up on Thursday, August 27th. Go Cougars!

Join the Dirigo High School Cheerleaders and coaching staff for three fun-filled days of learning cheers, jumps, stunts, dances, building confidence, and making new friends!
This camp is open to all students going into grades K–8.

The Class of 2030 is in its final week before high school. We had a blast at Funtown (and got some ice cream on the way back). Tonight was the Semi-Formal. It was great seeing all the students dressed to the nines, but even more fun to see them cheer on Tucker's debut guitar performance, and then take breaks from the dance floor to play a little chess. They are a dynamic, fun, creative bunch - watch out, Dirigo High School, here they come. Go Cougars!
