State Testing at DHS

State testing for grades 10 and 11 will be occurring next week. NWEAs will be taking place on May 10th for ELA, May 11th for MATH and the make-up day of May 12th for any student needing more time. Testing will begin at 9:00 a.m. and should only last for approximately 3 hours, however, due to the MAP Growth model, testing can last all day. Students should be prepared to read or work on assignments after completing each assessment while waiting for their peers to finish.

This email is also to notify you that all Sophomores and Juniors should plan on attending in-person on those days for testing unless they are a fully virtual student or their parent/guardian has opted them out of testing. Remote testing options are available for proctors to set-up for students wishing to test virtually.

All Freshmen and Seniors will be working virtually due to testing on these days and will be notified by their teachers of their assignments. There will, however, be a mandatory senior class meeting on Tuesday, May 11 at 9:00am in the SCC.

Teachers proctoring are:
Mr. Fenning
Ms. Hutchinson
Ms. Nolette
Mr. Fisette
Mr. Karavas
Mr. Foley
Ms. Arajuo
Ms. Morse

If you have class with any of these teachers, be prepared to receive  instructions for May 10th, May 11th and May 12th in a separate email from them regarding your class obligations.

Teachers and students will be provided with rosters in a separate email from Mrs. Robertson.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
