RSU 56 is excited to offer free of charge ALICE training centered on providing participants with the skills and confidence to respond effectively during active shooter incidents. This four hour block of time centers on trauma-informed delivery, and options-based strategies which build participant confidence and teach effective preparedness and response skills used to survive in a violent incident, regardless of location or circumstance.
The first offering of this training is open to high school students, RSU 56 staff and RSU 56 families. A waiver to participate is required and will be available to sign on the day of the event. Students MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
