DES Parents & Guardians,
There are many moments in the course of a school year that I find myself thinking how lucky I am to be the principal of a school with such AWESOME kids. This morning was very much one of those moments. We had our annual Veterans Assembly with about 50 community Veterans in attendance. The assembly is a little longer than our usual assemblies and requires a lot of sitting quietly. Our students, as usual, ROCKED IT! They were attentive and focused and provided such an atmosphere of respect and honor for our invited guests. Way to go DES, this principal is so PROUD of YOU!
