Dear Grade 4 Parents/Guardians,
On February 6, 2024, 50 students (randomly selected) are scheduled to participate in a NAEP (National Assessment of Education Progress) assessment. 25 students will be taking a reading assessment and 25 will be taking a math assessment. If your child was selected to participate in either of these assessments on February 6, a letter will be coming home (in their backpacks) on Monday, January 8, 2024 with more details. The letter will explain that you have until January 19 to provide a written notice stating that you do not want your child to participate.
