First and foremost, thank you for supporting RSU 56 as we worked through COVID19 induced remote learning. We will be sending out a survey soon to gather information on how remote learning went for you and your child(ren). The survey will also gather information and input into fall possibilities for returning to in-session school.
Many people have asked me what fall will look like in terms of school. I, unfortunately, am unable to provide a concrete answer at this time.
Yesterday, the MDOE issued guidelines on the start of school in the fall. The administrative team will be working on how to implement the requirements so that we can, hopefully, open for in-session schooling in the fall. Please know that the final determination of how school will look in the fall will not, most likely, be made until August. The reasoning is that guidance may shift between now and then.
