Update on Prom

Due to the Governor's stay at home order, CDC recommendations, and in the interest of public safety, the decision has been made to postpone prom until Thursday, August 6th, 2020, in hopes the restrictions against gathering in large groups will be lifted by then.

We are mindful of the importance of events like prom in the lives of our students, and the class of 2021 prom committee has worked diligently to both preserve public safety, and still, hopefully, host prom for our 2020 seniors.

The class of 2021 has secured Black Mountain of Maine in Rumford as a venue for the August reschedule, and have also secured an awesome DJ in ER Tours/Northeast Event Design, who have promised to 'bring the party' to Dirigo.

More information regarding ticket sales and guests from other schools will be forthcoming as we get closer to the event date.

The class of 2021 knows our seniors have sacrificed a lot this spring, and it is our sincere hope that we can send them off with the prom they deserve to have.

Sincerely,
